The Reel

Constructed out of a die-cast aluminium frame, side plates and spool the Corvalus boasts 3 A-RB bearings along with 1 stainless steel roller bearing. The non-disengaging level wind system, specific to the 400 model, makes laying the line onto the reel a piece of cake. Whereas its variable brake system (VBS) uses centrifugal forces to control the cast. It does this by creating friction to reduce the speed of the spool, preventing any backlashes from the line giving you a smoother, tangle free cast.
